Free Batik Taster Session

With special thanks to funding from Sunderland's UKSPF Fund and The Barbour Foundation, we are delighted to bring this fantastic batik taster session to Sunderland residents. During the session you will work with a range of beautiful dyes, fabrics and specialist equipment including tjantings, waxes and frames. 

These taster workshops have been designed to improve confidence, inspire creativity, tackle feelings of loneliness and isolation, promote inclusivity and unite people together to forge new friendships.

Sessions will be held at The Place on Athenaeum Street, Sunniside, Sunderland, SR1 1QH.
