Fused Glass Poppy Workshop

2021 marks the centenary of the first poppy appeal and we are delighted to bring you our very special Fused Glass Remembrance Poppy workshops – with 10% of all monies made being donated to the Royal British Legion’s poppy appeal.

Create your very own beautiful poppy using a range of transparent and opalescent glass. You can create your bespoke fused glass poppy which will be professionally hand cut ready for you to decorate and assemble in your own personal style. We will be using specialist glass frits and stringers in a wide range of colours, and you can also add in a bit of sparkle with dichroic frit. The poppy will be similar in size to a paper poppy and a brooch pin will be added to the reverse of your fused glass poppy using professional epoxy glass glue, so it will be ready to wear and enjoy for years to come and also be something that you can take great pride in knowing you made.

As a non-profit ourselves, we understand just how important it is to provide support to people most in need, so to commemorate the incredible dedication, achievements and sacrifices made by our service people, for every booking made on our Remembrance Poppy workshops we will donate 10% of all monies made to the Royal British Legion, who provide essential support to current and ex-service people.

Our Remembrance Poppy workshops will be held on -

Tuesday 2nd November from 10am – 12pm

Tuesday 2nd November from 1:30pm – 3:30pm

Tuesday 2nd November from 6:30pm – 8:30pm

These workshops will be held at a fully disabled accessible building.

Workshops will take place at The Place on Athenaeum Street, Sunderland, SR1 1QX.

Important Information

In the event of a cancellation or changing event date, we need a minimum 7 days’ notice prior to the date the session takes place in order to be able to give a refund. Cancellations or requests to change dates with less than 7 days’ notice, regardless of reason, will not be eligible for a refund. By booking your place you are automatically accepting these terms.
