About the Event
Haunted Headstones is another new workshop here at MBC Arts Wellbeing this Halloween. This workshop is made up of two sessions. During the first session, with support from our in-house ceramic tutor, you will learn a range of techniques to create your own ceramic haunted headstone, including slab and throughout the session you can get your hands dirty working with the clay to design your headstone just the way you want it. At the end of your session, your creation will be fired in our specialist ceramics kilns ready for your next session. The second session will be dedicated to painting your headstone, using a mixture of our high-quality glazes to perfect your design. We will again place your items into our kilns where the final firing will leave your headstones with a beautifully polished finish.
Take the opportunity to add a personalised message onto your creation, which can be used to scare the life out of anyone who dares to take a close look at it.
The first session will take place at 12:30pm on 11th October 2021, lasting for two hours.
The second session will take place at 12:30pm on 18th October 2021, lasting for two hours.
In the event of a cancellation, we need a minimum 7 days’ notice prior to the date of the first session in order to be able to give a full refund. Cancellations with less than 7 days’ notice, regardless of reason, will not be eligible for a refund. By booking your place you are automatically accepting these terms.
31 Norfolk Street is a listed building so disabled access is not possible to the building, however, to meet the needs of inclusivity we are delivering a variety of workshops at The Place, Athenaeum Street, to facilitate full disabled access.
