Intermediate Christmas Inspired Home Fragrances Course 11/10/23 9:30am-4pm

We are delighted to bring you the newest intermediate home fragrances course from our range of free creative courses for County Durham residents. Our courses have been designed to develop creativity, improve wellbeing, advance functional skills and provide people with an opportunity to take part in a range of highly sought-after creative experiences.

This course gives you the chance to create a range of stunning Christmas inspired home fragrance products – including beautifully fragranced soaps, shampoo bars, conditioner bars, body butters, body lotion bars and massage candles. You will begin by learning how to create your very own massage candles, creating two candles using a range delightful Christmas scented fragrances and also learning how to use massage candles safely. You will also learn how to create a range of stunning shampoo and conditioner bars, before moving on to the technique of making soaps. You will get the chance to create rich and nourishing body lotion bars and body butters, as well as working with essential oil and fragrances– using a range of natural exfoliants, oils and bases. During the sessions you’ll work with a range of high quality natural materials as well as specialist tools and equipment. Everything is included in the course – from materials, to tools, to containers – even aprons! Just bring yourself and be ready to have fun and learn lots of new things. The items made throughout the course will make the perfect Christmas gifts for loved ones or they will leave your home looking and smelling warm, inviting and festive, should you choose to use them yourself.

There is a quick turnaround time for our courses, so we are keen to engage with those who are committed to completing the course in full and attend each session. The course will take place at The Venue in Stanley, DH96AH. The course will run for four weeks with sessions taking place on Wednesday 11th October, 18th October, 25th October and 1st November, all from 9:30am-4pm. 

Entry requirements for our courses are as follows –

You must live in County Durham.

You must be aged 19+.

You can be unemployed, working or retired to take part in our courses.

You must have the right to reside in the UK.
